Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of auricdb.com (the "Site") operated by AuricDB ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Description of Service

AuricDB is a price tracking and economy analysis tool for online games including Guild Wars 2, WoW Classic, Final Fantasy XIV, and Path of Exile. The Site aggregates publicly available market data and presents it in a searchable, visual format.

Price data is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice. Market prices in games change rapidly; AuricDB makes no guarantee that data is accurate, complete, or current at the time you view it. Always verify prices in-game before making significant trades.

2. Accounts

To access features such as watchlists, price alerts, and subscriptions you must sign in using your Discord account. By signing in you represent that you are at least 13 years old and that your use of Discord complies with Discord's own Terms of Service.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account. We are not liable for any loss caused by unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behaviour toward the Site or other users.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

AuricDB offers optional paid subscription tiers (Premium and Guild) which unlock additional features. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to paid features until then. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the Site without written permission
  • Use automated bots or scripts to access the Site in a manner that disrupts its operation
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any data obtained from the Site
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent any security measures or access controls
  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

5. Advertising

The Site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. Clicking on advertisements is entirely at your own discretion. We do not endorse advertised products or services.

You must not click on advertisements with the intent to generate fraudulent revenue, and you must not use ad-blocking software circumvention tools that violate Google's policies.

6. Intellectual Property

The AuricDB name, logo, and original content (design, code, text) are our intellectual property. Game data and item names belong to their respective game publishers. We do not claim ownership over game assets and use publicly available APIs under the terms set by each game publisher.

AuricDB is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ArenaNet, Blizzard Entertainment, Square Enix, or Grinding Gear Games.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, FEATURES, AND DATA ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AURICDB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
